Its purpose is to provide grants to eligible entities for activities that 1) slow and eventually reverse the rate of deforestation in the Congo Basin; 2) provide support mechanisms which conserve forests; 3) maintain benefits to local communities; and 4) mobilize additional financial resources to support required actions. Under the supervision of the CBFF Coordinator, the Finance and Administration Specialist will be responsible for (I) carrying over the financial monitoring of the CBFF: (ii) preparing the reporting documents required for the donors and the ADB; (iii) supporting the CBFF Operation Officers and the FMA (Fund Management Agent) in dealing with project financial matters; and (iv) assisting the Coordinator in the administrative tasks linked to the management of the CBFF
